Supported contact
(centre-based)

Supported contact provides a safe, welcoming, and family-focused space for parents and children to spend quality time together without the need for continuous supervision. This service is ideal for families who are rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, or progressing toward more independent contact arrangements.
During supported contact sessions, families interact independently in our child-friendly rooms, while a member of the Tiny Hearts team remains on-site to offer support or guidance if needed. Our staff may check in periodically to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of the child and to provide reassurance when required.
Sessions are arranged following a suitability assessment to ensure that supported contact is appropriate for the family’s needs. The focus remains on promoting natural interaction, emotional safety, and confidence-building. This service is often used as a positive step down from fully supervised contact, allowing families to progress gradually toward greater independence while still benefiting from professional oversight and emotional safety.
