Family Support
Welfare Checks, Family Support, Spot Checks, and Bespoke Interventions To promote child safety within the home environment and prevent children from entering the care system where possible, Tiny Hearts offers Family Support, Spot Checks, and Bespoke Interventions. These services are designed to assess and ensure that children are living in safe, stable, and nurturing conditions, while also providing tailored support to families in need. Our key services include:
- Family Stability Checks – Assessing home environments to determine whether children have access to basic needs, emotional support, and a safe living space.
- Home Safety Monitoring – Conducting routine visits to ensure that children’s homes meet necessary safety and welfare standards.
- Unannounced Care Audits – Conducting surprise visits to evaluate caregiving quality and detect any risks of neglect or harm.
- Child Welfare Spot Checks – Undertaking safeguarding visits in collaboration with social services when concerns arise about a child’s well-being.
- Preventative Support for Families – Offering early intervention to families in distress, helping them to access appropriate support services before situations escalate.
- Bespoke Parental Guidance – Providing practical guidance to parents on how to prioritise their child’s needs, including referrals to mental health support, parenting classes, or addiction recovery programmes.
- Child Engagement Services – If parents need to attend drug or alcohol rehabilitation sessions, mental health appointments, or other necessary interventions, our trained supervisors can take the child for a structured activity or bring them to the centre for an outreach programme.
- All checks and audits follow strict confidentiality and safeguarding protocols, ensuring that children remain protected while respecting family privacy. If risks are identified, appropriate interventions and referrals to support services will be recommended. Our bespoke support aims to prevent children from entering care by strengthening family resilience and encouraging positive parenting strategies.
