Supervised contact
(centre-based)

Supervised contact at Tiny Hearts takes place within a warm, neutral, and child-focused setting designed to support safe, positive, and meaningful connections between children and their parents or family members. This service is suitable where there are safeguarding concerns, complex family circumstances, or where contact is directed by a court or local authority.
During each session, a trained and experienced member of the Tiny Hearts team remains present throughout, providing one-to-one supervision to ensure the safety and emotional wellbeing of the child. The environment is carefully prepared with age-appropriate toys, books, and activities that encourage relaxed, natural interaction. Staff observe sensitively, offering reassurance, guidance, and gentle redirection where needed to promote healthy engagement.
Every supervised contact is planned and risk-assessed in advance to meet the unique needs of each child and family. Following sessions, detailed observation notes or summaries can be provided upon request. At Tiny Hearts, our safeguarding-first approach ensures that every child experiences contact in an environment where they feel supported, respected, and secure.
